About Uptown Primary CareQuality Patient Care in a Collaborative Learning Environment
A welcome from our medical director:
Uptown Primary Care is one of the most unique clinics in the country.
Our practice is located in the campus of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Uptown Denver and is supported by an excellent hospital administration as well as the largest nonprofit organization in Colorado, The Colorado Health Foundation.
We offer total health and wellness services that include the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and depression, acute conditions such as chest pain, headaches, and common muscle sprains/strains, and preventive services such as vaccinations and cancer screening to a diverse population of patients.
We also teach these principles to learners of all types, including resident physicians, medical, pharmacy, and medical assistant students within our clinic. We work and function as a fully supported integrated care team consisting of an amazing group of fully trained medical assistants and office staff, along with a dedicated psychologist, social worker, care manager, pharmacists, and nationally recognized academic faculty physicians of the University of Colorado. For residents interested in additional training in Women’s Health, our practice offers a Women’s Health Elective led by a certified OB/GYN faculty physician.
Our primary goals are the professional development of future physicians of general internal medicine and to provide the highest quality and evidence-based care to all of our patients that exceeds their service expectations.
We look forward to seeing you in our practice soon!
